How much time does a mentor give?
One hour a month. Teachers and elders lead or join one SETU Circle in their school or district.
Can my child join if they are under 18?
Yes, with written consent from a parent or guardian. We send the consent form after registration.
Where do SETU Circles happen?
In schools, colleges, community halls and partner organisations. Some are held online.
Are mentors verified?
Yes. Every adult completes an orientation, a child-safety pledge and ID verification before meeting young people.
I'm not comfortable with smartphones. Can I still join as an elder?
Yes. A family member can register for you, and our coordinator will call you. No technology is needed to start.
